Information We Collect
PandAlarm
Sleep Data: Sleep duration, sleep quality metrics, and sleep patterns are stored locally on your device.
Alarm Settings: Your alarm preferences, sounds, and mission configurations are stored locally.
Audio Recordings: Snore detection recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Device Motion Data: Used for sleep tracking and shake-to-wake features, processed locally only.
Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
IndoorVoice
Audio Analysis: All voice level monitoring is processed entirely on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
Settings: Your volume thresholds and preferences are stored locally.
Scraps
Recipe Data: All saved recipes, ingredients, and cooking steps are stored locally on your device.
Photos & Images: Photos taken for recipe scanning or ingredient identification are processed through Google Gemini AI for text extraction and analysis. Images are sent to Google's servers for processing and are not retained by Google after processing is complete. We do not store your images on our servers.
URLs: When importing recipes from URLs, the page content is fetched and processed to extract recipe data. We do not log or store the URLs you import.
Dietary Preferences: Your dietary preferences, allergies, and restrictions are stored locally on your device.
How We Use Your Information
We use information solely to:
Provide and improve app functionality
Display relevant advertisements (free version only)
Process Premium subscriptions through Apple
Respond to support requests
Third-Party Services
Our apps may use the following third-party services:
Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Apple HealthKit: If you grant permission, PandAlarm may read/write sleep data to HealthKit. This data stays on your device and in your iCloud account.
Google Gemini AI: Scraps uses Google Gemini for recipe extraction, handwriting recognition, and ingredient identification. Photos and text are sent to Google for processing. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Storage & Security
By default, all personal data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and biometric locks.
If you create an account and sign in, your recipes are synced to our cloud service (Google Firebase/Firestore) to enable access across devices. Cloud-synced data includes recipe titles, ingredients, steps, tags, and compressed recipe images. Cloud data is associated with your account and can be permanently deleted by using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Settings. Guest users' data remains entirely on-device.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access: View all data stored by our apps in the app settings
Delete: Remove all app data by uninstalling the app or using the "Clear Data" option in settings
Opt-out: Disable personalized ads through your device's privacy settings
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
